HOW TO TRAVEL TO LIMERICK

FLIGHTS INTO SHANNON AIRPORT:

Shannon Airport is serviced by Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) and Aer Lingus (www.aerlingus.com)

We will collect you upon your arrival Shannon Airport.

FROM DUBLIN:

Probably you will enter Ireland first through Dublin: a modern, user-friendly airport served by Aer Lingus, Ryanair and the national carriers of many EU countries.  You can also access Ireland easily from ferries from France and the UK.

Wherever you land you will be greeted by the friendly Irish who will do their best to make your stay a pleasant one!

FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT TO LIMERICK BY KAVANAGH'S BUS:

Look for the Information Desk and ask them where the Bus Car Park is. Look for the J.J. Kavanagh’s Bus to Limerick. The trip takes 4 hours and brings you to Arthur’s Quay bus stop, next to Limerick’s tourist office.  (www.jjkavanagh.ie)

FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT TO LIMERICK BY BUS EIREANN:

Exit near the Information Desk and look for the Air Link Bus. Take the one going to Busarus (Dublin’s central bus terminal). Every hour, at 30 minutes past the hour, a bus departs from Busarus to Limerick and arrives at the Limerick Bus Station.  Time: 3 hours, 40 minutes. (www.buseireann.ie)

FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT TO LIMERICK BY TRAIN:

Exit near the Information Desk and look for the Air Link Bus. Take the one going to Heuston Train Station.  When you arrive at the station, check the signs for the various departures. Travelling to Limerick, you will need to change trains in Limerick Junction and then 20 minutes later you will be in Limerick Train Station. Time: 2 hours, 20 minutes. (www.irishrail.ie).  

FROM CORK:

You may also enter Ireland through Cork Airport. This modern airport is serviced by Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) and Aer Lingus (www.aerlingus.com).

FROM CORK AIRPORT TO LIMERICK:

The Citylink bus will take you from Cork Airport to Limerick City centre. The trip takes 2 hours, 15 minutes and brings you to Upper Mallow Street (one minute from the school). (www.citylink.com)

We will collect you upon arrival at each of the stops mentioned above.
